Audio Remix Exploration

The world of audio allows our brain to respond to even more stimuli at the same time. Rather than being bogged down by trying to read something, our brain can be hit with all of the information from a song at once. This allows for a greater understanding and enjoyment of simultaneity in the content that cannot be achieved in writing. The dissolution of the thought and goal behind the original audio melds with all of the different parts that are involved to create a cohesive product. They not only meld well together, but create an even stronger product as one.

For my audio remix, I'll be approaching environmental sounds & musical sounds. My plan of approach is to utilize sounds from advertisements and electronic music (possibly classical or hip hop as well) to create an organized cacophony of the mass media that inundates us on a daily basis. I hope to make sure that it is not only thick with audio samples, but actually pleasing to listen to.

My gathering goals are:
-ambient beats
-classical music
-hip-hop
-commercial jingles
-MANY sections of commercial dialogue and speech
